THE 90S CHOKER IS BACK AND IT LOOKS BETTER THAN EVER

Remember when you wore a stretchy plastic choker around your neck growing up in the 90s? Remember how cool you thought it looked, how classy and grown up this jewelry option seemed – especially when all dressed up with an All Saints crop top on and your hair in sparkly butterfly clips?

Well the trend is back, sort of, and luckily it’s looking even better than it did the first time around.

The choker began its resurgence with slip dresses, grunge and all of the other 90s throwback trends that emerged on the AW15 catwalks. But unlike some of the others, it’s carried on through to spring, with brands from Saint Laurent to H&M proposing fierce new options both at the high end of the industry and on the high street.

Supermodel Kendall Jenner has got to be the biggest celebrity fan of the choker. She rarely leaves the house without one at the moment and has been seen working the accessory into both red carpet looks and off duty ensembles alike.
