That kind of exercises includes activities that make you move against gravity while staying upright. Weight-bearing exercises can be high or low-impact.

High-impact weight-bearing exercises help build bones and keep them strong. This are exercises such as dancing, high-impact aerobics, hiking, running, jumping rope and stair climbing. But be careful!
